Who can use babysitting?

Babysitting is available for Kaizen members and drop-in visitors. Children must be 6 months to 7 years old.

How long can my child stay?

Babysitting is offered in one-hour sessions to ensure a safe, attentive environment. Parents can book multiple sessions as long as they remain on property.

Do I need to stay onsite?

Yes. Parents/guardians must remain inside Kaizen Norwell at all times while their child is in our care.

How do I reserve a spot?

Space is limited. We recommend reserving your child’s spot in advance through the Mindbody app or by calling the front desk.

Are your babysitters certified?

Yes! All childcare attendants hold Red Cross Advanced Child Care Certification (or equivalent) and Adult/Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.

Where does babysitting take place?

All childcare happens in our dedicated Kid’s Cave, a supervised play space located on our lower level. It is a beautiful playroom with wonderful toys and books and wonderful caregivers.

How does check-in work?

Check-in is at the front desk. Your child will be added to the day’s roster, and our staff will confirm any important notes (allergies, parent location, etc.) and have you complete appropriate paperwork.

Can you change diapers?

Yes. With a diaper changing waiver on file, babysitters and caregivers can change diapers. Diapers are to be provided by parents.

What about bathroom breaks?

The Kids Cave has it’s own dedicated bathroom. Children must be independent in the restroom. A babysitter will escort them to the door and wait outside for safety, but they will not go into the bathroom with the child. A changing table is available inside the Kids Cave for infant changing purposes and is available for parents to use when needed.

What if my child gets upset or misbehaves?

Our team will do their best to comfort and redirect. If a child becomes too upset, unsafe, or unmanageable, we will come find you immediately.

What if my child has allergies or special instructions?

Please let our staff know at check-in. We will make note of any important information. However, babysitters cannot administer medication.

What happens when the hour is up?

Children must be picked up promptly at the end of the session. Pickup is also through the Kid’s Cave.

Can siblings stay together?

Absolutely! Siblings will remain in the same supervised play space whenever possible.

What should my child bring?

Only the essentials—small comfort items or labeled water bottles are welcome. Please no toys from home with small pieces, or electronic devices.

What is your safety policy?

We follow strict supervision guidelines:

  • Children are never left unattended.

  • Babysitters maintain clear communication with each other and staff.

  • All behavior concerns are documented and shared with parents when appropriate.

  • An emegency exit is located at the back of the Kids Cave for safe and quick exit in an emergency situation.
